About Limelight Arts
LImelight Arts was founded by Melody Richardson, a state certified music educator and fine arts director with nearly 20 years of experience across the classroom, renowned choirs, youth orchestras, and performing arts programs. Melody has directed hundreds of productions and events, built arts programs that grew exponentially, and spent years teaching right here in Cherokee County. Cherokee County isn't just where Limelight Arts operates, it's home! And that's exactly why Melody is so passionate about serving this community! She brings the expertise of a seasoned arts administrator, the heart of a classroom teacher, and a genuine passion for helping young people discover what they are capable of! Your students are seen, supported, and inspired by someone who knows this community, loves this work, and shows up for both every single day!

Our mission is to make exceptional arts instruction accessible to everyone in Cherokee County. We serve public, private, charter, and homeschool communities, believing that every young artist deserves the opportunity to create, shine, and inspire.
